About Rob
Rob is Managing Director of Sales at Genesis Capital, and has been part of the company’s growth since its early years. Joining soon after the firm was founded in 2013, Rob has steadily expanded his production and borrower relationships through each stage of the platform’s evolution into a nationally recognized private lender serving professional real estate investors. Over his tenure, he has originated nearly $6 billion in total volume.
Before Genesis, Rob spent five years as a Senior Associate at Marcus & Millichap focused on multifamily investment sales. He also co-founded a real estate platform specializing in distressed residential assets, where he managed and repositioned more than 2,000 properties nationwide, and later served as a partner in a specialty loan servicing company supporting NPL trading.
Rob holds dual degrees in Business and English from the University of San Diego, with a minor in Real Estate, and competed on the USD men’s tennis team.
