About Jay
Jay is Chief Credit Officer at Genesis Capital, where he leads credit policy, underwriting standards, and portfolio risk management across the firm’s lending platforms. He oversees credit approval and asset-level decisioning, with a focus on maintaining disciplined underwriting while supporting scalable growth across construction and residential transition lending.
Jay brings deep experience managing large and complex real estate, investment, and loan portfolios across multiple market cycles, with a background spanning credit risk, special assets, real estate development, and portfolio oversight. He holds a BS in Business Finance from Montana State University–Bozeman, an MBA from Grand Canyon University, and serves on the Board of Directors for Valley Partnership.
